Hama Yaran Dozakh is a book by Siddique Salik on the tragedy of East Pakistan. Siddique Salik was a major-rank officer in the Pakistan Army in 1971, when East Pakistan became Bangladesh. He was with General Farman Ali when the war between India and Pakistan was going on in East Pakistan.

Hama Yaran Dozakh is the autobiography of Siddique Salik. He shares the events of his life, from the war in East Pakistan to the creation of Bangladesh. He takes the readers from Bangladesh to the Indian war prisoner camps where Pakistani army personnel were kept after the war.

In his book, he shares the emotional side of an army person’s life. He shares the situation of becoming a war prisoner. In Hama Yaran Dozakh, he explains the events that transpired during their stay in a war prisoners camp in India.

Siddique Salik is like Colnol Khan, Colnol Shafique, and Syed Zamir Jaffery, an army officer who got great recognition in Urdu literature.
